Solano Land Trust

The above pictures are from The Orchards at King Ranch in Hiddenbrook. There is something I love, about seeing my food on a table set in the middle of the orchard. It makes me happy. The orchard trees and the natural/organic approach I like to take to my food seems to go hand in hand.
Natalie, the Volunteer Coordinator, organized a hike that we provided lunch for. I unfortunately, didn't get to hike this year but I swear I am going to do it next year. I had fun though taking pictures and talking to some of the volunteers at the Land Trust. If you get a chance take a look at Solano Land Trusts website They have plenty of volunteer opportunities. If you can't volunteer time feel free to send a donation. They put this money towards education, purchase land and maintain land. A local and worthwhile cause! Also, check out their great education programs. They have lots of fun stuff going on all the time.
